Cancellation & Refund Policy

At 株式会社 Driver Japan/カブシキカイシャ ドライバージャパン, we are committed to providing premium private transportation services.

Due to limited availability and to ensure fairness and efficiency, all bookings are pre-paid and subject to the following terms:

1. Cancellation Policy

  • Within 24 hours of booking: You may cancel without penalty. However, the administrative charge (e.g., processing fee) is non-refundable, and additional administrative fees may apply.
  • More than 2 weeks before the scheduled pickup: A 50% cancellation fee of the total booking amount will be applied.
  • Between 2 weeks and 72 hours before the scheduled pickup: A 75% cancellation fee of the total booking amount will be applied.
  • Within 72 hours before the scheduled pickup: No refund will be issued.
  • No-show or failure to be present at the pickup location: No refund will be issued.

2. Rescheduling Policy

Requests made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup:

Rescheduling is subject to vehicle availability. If a vehicle is available, a rescheduling surcharge of ¥5,000 will apply. If no vehicle is available, the booking will be subject to the cancellation policy.

Requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup:

Rescheduling requests will be treated as cancellations and will be subject to the applicable cancellation fees.

3. No-Show Policy

A reservation will be considered a no-show if:

  • The passenger fails to arrive at the designated pickup location within 15 minutes of the scheduled time without prior notice.
  • The passenger cannot be reached via the provided phone number.

In the event of a no-show, the full reservation amount will be charged, and no refund will be issued.

4. Waiting Time Policy

Airport Pickups:

A 45-minute grace period is provided from the confirmed flight arrival time. After this period, a waiting fee of [X] yen per 15-minute increment will apply.

Non-Airport Pickups:

A 15-minute grace period is provided from the scheduled pickup time. After this period, a waiting fee of [X] yen per 15-minute increment will apply.

5. Force Majeure & Service Disruptions

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions), Japan Driver reserves the right to:

  • Offer a full credit for a future booking, valid for [X] months.
  • Provide a refund at the company's discretion.

Note: The decision to issue a credit or refund will depend on the specific circumstances of the disruption.

6. Refund Processing

Submission:

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to Customer Service.

Processing Time:

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

Non-Refundable Charges:

  • Administrative charges are non-refundable.
  • Transaction fees charged by payment processors (e.g., credit card fees) may also be non-refundable.

7. Acceptance of Policy

By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
